Stream Meditation

Imagine sitting by a stream (yes, as if you're on vacation), watching leaves fall one by one onto the water's surface, drifting away with the current.

Whenever a troubling thought arises:

  • Visualize it as words written on a leaf.
  • Watch it float slowly downstream with the flow.
  • Don’t push it away or chase after it.
  • Simply observe it quietly.
  • Don’t resist the thought, nor avoid it. Instead, let it flow away naturally in a more peaceful way.
